Faith-Based Practice
Our humanistic approach to mental healthcare is rooted in biblical scripture:
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
Through a trusting, safe and collaborative approach - we conduct a psychiatric interview to best learn your current struggles and mental health needs.
Starting medication may feel like a scary experience- however, our compassionate professionals walk you through the process every step of the way!
In addition, psychotherapy support is provided in each session taking in consideration diverse stressors affecting your mental wellbeing.
Based on laboratory values (bloodwork) we determine nutritional deficiencies and provide supplement recommendations (e. g, vitamin D, B12 deficiencies).
We work together to create a treatment plan based on your mental health needs, situational stressors and life challenges. Taking in consideration your social, physical, emotional, nutritional and spiritual health.
We emphasize the importance of active listening during each and every session, therefore patients can expect 60 mins of care during their onboarding session/interview and 30 mins of care during follow up visits. Nothing less!
Every session provides a safe and trusting healing environment where you can feel heard and understood….

A Psychiatric nurse practitioner is a nurse with an advanced degree (e.g., master’s or doctorate degree in nursing) who is certified and license to provide psychiatric care in the hospital (inpatient) and/or outpatient setting (clinic). Psychiatric nurse practitioners or PMHNPs have attained advance education, board certification and licensing to practice. Their role involves assessment of psychiatric mental disorders via psychiatric evaluations, psychotropic medication management (they possess both diagnostic and prescriptive authority), they can provide patient education and can engage in civil/legislative impact.
Yes, psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) possess prescriptive authority in the state of Florida under a collaborative agreement with a medical doctor (MD). State legislation may differ in other states in which PHMNPs do not require a collaborative agreement and may practice independently (e.g., Colorado, Minnesota ).
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are educated and trained on various treatment modalities including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), psychotherapy or CBT therapy. However, for problem-focused therapy (e.g., trauma, couple’s therapy) it is preferred for a client to be treated by a licensed mental health clinician/counselor/psychologist (e.g., PsyD, LMHC, family therapist, couples’ therapist). We are partnered and collaborate with compassionate and professional psychotherapist which may be referred by our practice. Ask us for a list of trusted referred therapists and we will gladly connect you.
